Telesales and Customer Service Training – how our fees are structured
There is plenty of information on the To Market website giving you details about the range of telephone skills training courses we offer. To Market specialises in training for telephone based personnel, or indeed any one who talks to customers all day every day. Courses are run for;
- Customer Service – dealing with inbound calls (Call Centre, Contact Centre)
- Telesales and Telemarketing – those targeted at making outbound sales development calls
- Internal Sales – those who deal with incoming enquiries and maximising those sales opportunities
- Team managers – for those managers, supervisors and team leaders responsible for the effective running of phone based teams
The majority of our courses are what we call commissioned in-house courses. A 2 day course on your premises working with a team of up to 6 individuals over the 2 days. Our courses are designed to be fully interactive and we use a variety of devices and exercises to make the courses engaging and stimulating and indeed fun! Well why not?!

There are one day versions of the 2 day course available. This is ideal for companies who have a tight budget for training or who struggle to find the time to have their team away from their desks for 2 days. A one day course involves less investment, but a 2 day course is better value.
We also run open (or public courses.) This is the same material as the in-house courses – slightly abridged as there are slightly less hours to an open course. We run these at venues across the Midlands, usually selected to be close to the motorway network, near the M1, M6 and A14. We run both customer service and telesales / telemarketing skills courses.
If you only require training for one or 2 people, or can only afford this many people away from the office at any one time, then these open courses are the better option. Fee rates are generally £399 + VAT per delegate although we offer discounts for bookings of 2 or more delegates.
We select the venues and the dates and typically run each course once a quarter. Details are always available on the home page of our website.
Phone team managers
We also run a great and fun 2 day course for telephone team managers. This again, is an open course. It covers issues of direct relevance to phone team managers, supervisors and team leaders : coaching, goal setting, praise & reprimand, coaching, the role of a first line manager etc. The fee for this 2 day course is £499 + VAT. Course venues are based in the East Midlands for this course.
All our courses give our clients access to our range of audio CDs containing elements of the training material at better prices. You can view the full range at our sister company Associated Learning Systems website.
Clients buy these as part of our Care package offered to all our training clients. This gives you the chance to revisit the training material or even build your own mini training sessions without having to get an external trainer in again.
The vast majority of training programmes we run start with the pre-course team audit. 2 hours on site sitting alongside 4 members of your customer service or telesales team.
The report then gives you an idea about our thoughts on how the members of your team go about their job, and how you can make some improvements to help them be more effective.
